Into the Woods

The story begins with a Baker and his Wife longing for a child, but they are cursed by a vengeful Witch. This curse was the result of the Baker's father stealing from the Witch's garden while the Baker's mother was pregnant, leading to a life filled with despair for the couple.

The Witch offers to lift the curse, but only if the Baker and his Wife gather four specific magical items for her. These items include a white cow, a red cape, yellow hair, and a golden slipper, making their quest challenging as the Witch cannot collect these items herself.

During their journey, the Baker and his Wife encounter Jack, who is trying to sell his beloved cow, Milky White. The Baker suggests trading Jack magic beans, originally stolen from the Witch, leading to the growth of a massive beanstalk that sets off many events.

The couple meets Little Red Riding Hood, who captivates them with her bright red cape. After a moment of heroism, the Baker saves her and her grandmother from the dangerous Wolf, leading Little Red Riding Hood to gift her cape to the Baker.

Simultaneously, two princes are introduced, one enchanted by Rapunzel's long hair and the other captivated by Cinderella’s stunning golden slipper at a royal festival. Their paths intertwine in the woods as they share their tales, overheard by the Baker's Wife.

The Baker's Wife finds herself in a tower with Rapunzel and uses cunning to trick her into lowering her hair. After cutting it off, the truth unfolds that Rapunzel is actually the Baker's long-lost sister, complicating the quest significantly.

Cinderella flees from the prince, feeling overwhelmed by his affections. In desperation, she trades her precious golden shoe to the Baker's Wife for the last magic bean, hoping to escape her fate while still seeking her happily ever after.
