Three Pakistani brothers anchor the story: the elder Javed Sheikh as Javed, a steady police officer, and his younger siblings Mustafa Qureshi as Mustafa and Ghulam Mohiuddin as Ghulam, who drift into small-time crime while clinging to family ties. The backdrop is the charged atmosphere around The Satanic Verses, and a brutal Islamabad police crackdown on February 12, 1990, during which their younger sister is killed while protesting against Salman Rushdie. In the wake of this tragedy, the brothers vow to defend Islam’s honor by pursuing Rushdie, a decision that launches them on a perilous international hunt.

Rushdie, portrayed as a sadistic criminal mastermind, operates within a vast conspiracy aimed at reshaping the world to his own hedonistic designs. He hides in the Philippines and is guarded by a private army led by an Israeli general. The conflict is intensified by the presence of Rangeela as Chief Batu Batu, Rushdie’s formidable Jewish henchman, who embodies the film’s ruthless underworld. Rushdie’s reckless cruelty includes torturing and killing those who challenge him, and he even inflicts psychological torment by forcing Muslims to endure readings of The Satanic Verses.

The protagonists travel to the Philippines to close in on Rushdie, but the fugitive mastermind repeatedly slips away thanks to a web of decoys and misdirection. At one memorable moment, the three brothers appear wearing Batman costumes, a cinematic nod to their desperate, audacious bid for vengeance. Along the way, the Israeli general’s sister is deployed to seduce one of the Muslim guerrillas, only to fall in love with him and ultimately convert to Islam in a climactic turn of allegiance.

As the final confrontation unfolds, a ferocious gunfight pits the four “International Guerrillas” against Rushdie’s army of mercenaries. The heroes gain the upper hand, and as Rushdie tries to flee, the sky is lit by the appearance of three giant Qur’ans that unleash a dramatic, supernatural storm, incinerating the writer and bringing the chase to a pyrotechnic, symbolic close.
