The brothers decide to hunt Rushdie after their younger sister is killed during an Islamabad police crackdown on February 12, 1990, while protesting against The Satanic Verses. Her death, along with the killing of five other demonstrators, becomes the catalyst that drives the brothers to abandon their criminal lifestyles and pursue vengeance in defense of Islam.

Chief Batu Batu is Rushdie's formidable Jewish henchman who leads his private army in the Philippines. He embodies the film's portrayal of Rushdie's ruthless underworld and serves as one of the main antagonists the brothers must overcome during their mission.

The Israeli general's sister is initially sent to seduce one of the Muslim guerrillas as part of a spy mission. However, she falls in love with him during the course of their interactions, and this emotional connection leads her to convert to Islam in the final scene, switching allegiance.

Rushdie is depicted as a sadistic criminal mastermind operating within a vast conspiracy aimed at reshaping the world to his hedonistic designs. He lives in decadence in the Philippines, tortures and kills those who challenge him, and even inflicts psychological torment by forcing Muslims to endure readings of The Satanic Verses.
