Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny

In 1944, Indiana Jones and Basil Shaw are captured by Nazis in a castle located in the French Alps. As they are held prisoners, the Nazis are on a mission to seize the legendary Lance of Longinus.

Indiana executes a daring escape from the castle just as an Allied bomb strikes and demolishes the bell tower where he was imprisoned. This timely intervention allows Indy to avoid capture and helps him flee with Basil.

Colonel Weber orchestrates the relocation of to Berlin looted treasures on a specially commissioned train. Meanwhile, Basil is interrogated about the Lance, maintaining that it is powerless and they were merely protecting history.

Jurgen Voller reveals to Colonel Weber that the Lance of Longinus they seek is a fake. However, he possesses crucial information about Archimedes' Dial, an artifact capable of predicting time fissures.

Indy manages to free Basil on a Berlin-bound train filled with stolen antiquities. After a heated confrontation with Voller, they leap from the train just before it is derailed by Allied forces, oblivious to the Dial's true value.

Fast forward to 1969, Indiana is on the brink of retirement from Hunter College in New York City. His personal life is in turmoil following the death of his son, Mutt, during the Vietnam War, leading to the crumbling of his marriage.

Indiana's goddaughter, Helena Shaw, arrives with ambitions to research Archimedes' Dial. Despite Indy's warnings about her father's obsession with the artifact, she is determined to secure the other half of the Dial, believed to be in the French Alps.

While searching for the Dial in college archives, Indy and Helena fall into an ambush. Framed for murders, they desperately navigate a tumultuous ticker-tape parade and face protests while seeking help from Indy's old friend, Sallah.

Indy and Helena pursue the stolen Dial to Tangier where Helena plans to auction it. In a dramatic confrontation, Indy disrupts the auction, but Voller and his agents steal the artifact, setting off a thrilling chase.

Recognizing that the remaining coordinates for the Dial lie with Archimedes' tomb in the Aegean Sea, Indy and Helena forge an alliance with seasoned diver Renaldo. Together, they seek to uncover the secrets of an ancient sunken Roman ship.

In an intense standoff, Voller seizes Renaldo's boat and demands Indy decipher a tablet related to Archimedes’ legacy. As Helena devises a plan to assist, they uncover instructions that guide them to the long-hidden tomb of Archimedes.

Indy, Helena, and Renaldo succeed in evading Voller and discover the second half of the Dial within the Ear of Dionysius cavern. However, Voller’s true intentions to alter WWII become apparent, leading to a fierce confrontation.

Upon activating the Dial, Indy and Helena are unexpectedly transported back to 214 BC during the siege of Syracuse. Amid chaos, they realize the magnitude of Archimedes’ intelligence as they navigate the historical tumult.

As Indy and Helena navigate their escape, Archimedes discovers their presence and seeks their assistance against the Romans. This pivotal moment emphasizes the Dial's power and the weight of historical choice.

With a renewed sense of purpose, Indy chooses to return to the present, overcoming the temptation to remain in the past. Upon his return, he finds healing and hope, reconnecting with loved ones after his life-altering journey.
