I Still Dream of Jeannie

Colonel Tony Nelson is deployed on a NASA mission and goes off the radar, leaving Jeannie anxious. With his absence, the planned academic presentation by their son Tony Junior becomes uncertain, and Mister Simpson looks forward to meeting Nelson.

Jeannie visits the NASA offices to inquire about her husband’s mission. General Wescott makes it clear that the information is classified as Top Secret. This response deepens her resolve to uncover the truth on her own terms.

Jeannie and Tony Junior conspire to break into the NASA files to obtain the mission details. They hope to uncover critical information about Nelson's assignment and its status. Their plan is quickly overshadowed by a competing intrusion.

Before Jeannie and TJ can act, Eddie and Guzer beat them to the file and abscond with the Xenon document. The Xenon file is rumored to contain the mission summary that could expose the whole operation. The criminals rush to monetize the information on the black market.

Jeannie suspects the filing system is a security trap and teams with TJ to locate a hidden code key. They discover that Nelson's mission summary is concealed inside the Xenon file. They relay this breakthrough to their longtime friend Colonel Roger Healy.

Jeannie II arrives and reminds Sham-Ir of the rules prohibiting Jeannie from staying on Earth without a Master. Sham-Ir decrees that Jeannie has two weeks to find either Tony or an eligible new Master, or she must return to Mesopotamia forever. The stakes are raised dramatically.

With the time limit looming, Jeannie attempts to find a suitable Master. She weighs possible bachelors among people she knows, hoping someone can serve as her Master. The process is complicated by the men’s availability and Jeannie II's interference.

At a singles bar, Jeannie encounters a promising candidate who seems handsome and kind. The moment is interrupted as Jeannie II keeps watch and meddles, foreshadowing the difficulty of finding a Master without drawing suspicion.

Jeannie II conjures a counterfeit wife to berate the man for infidelity and to disparage Jeannie. The ruse backfires when the man asserts that neither Jeannie nor this supposed wife are who they pretend to be. A scuffle ensues, and he is knocked unconscious as Jeannie II departs.

TJ crosses paths with Guzer and Eddie again, who are undercover as garbagemen. The two bicker about offering TJ a ride and gifting him a pair of shoes from their cargo. One of them blurts out that the shoes are stolen contraband, heightening the danger.

Guzer and Eddie take TJ prisoner and call their shady employers about sending an executioner. The threat to Jeannie and TJ becomes more immediate as the criminals tighten their grip on the situation. Rescuing TJ seems increasingly unlikely as the web of crime closes in.

With the danger of repatriation for Jeannie and death for TJ looming, the mother and son face a bleak crossroads. The intertwining of the mission's secrecy and the criminals' ambitions leaves them with limited options and mounting fear. The situation stalls hope for a quick resolution.
