Jill and Joy are tasked by their neighbors, the Tingelsteins, to care for their eccentric inventor brother, Gadgetus. While exploring his wondrous farm, the girls discover it's threatened by Samuel Shortcut, who plans to demolish it for a new highway using his bulldozer. To save the farm, Jill and Joy must venture into the world of dreams, seek assistance, and utilize a device invented by Gadgetus. Armstrong, a miniature pig, and the residents of Rose Alley join them in this exciting adventure.
