I Do, I Do

Liu Wenhui is a workaholic in the fish ball production office, buried in her tasks. Her single status and age lead several women to call her an 'auntie', a label reinforced by her mother's constant guidance about relationships.

Chen Jianfeng joins the company and his build captures the attention of several women, including Liu. During a boardroom presentation, Chen volunteers a bold proposal; Liu's interest grows along with Xu's warning, but Liang Yiling cautions Liu about potential deception.

Lee Ah Peng and friends enroll in a night class on Xu's suggestion to improve their skills after meeting foreign tourists. Liu grieves, goes broke, and Chen's rejection presses her toward a desperate act. She attempts suicide by asphyxiation when she finds the gas tank empty.

Liu calls Liang for a gas-tank order, and her friends rush to the residence to help while removing hazards. Realizing the danger, Lee descends to save her, and she is rushed to the hospital.

After the ordeal, Liu and Lee's bond resurfaces and they share a kiss on stage during a getai performance. A divination lot foretells marriage to someone two years older, which matches Lee's age when viewed through the Chinese calendar, sealing their union.

Xu and Liang are revealed to be married, and Liang is pregnant, signaling a quiet but hopeful personal life alongside the main couple.

Near the end, Chen, Chin, their parents, and the debtors reveal the secret about the setup that was meant to push Lee and Liu together, praising the couple for a successful operation.
