Viktor frequents bars and is married to a woman he doesn't love, the mother of an unplanned child. Abandoned by his own father and orphaned after his mother’s suicide, Viktor’s life takes a turn when his estranged father reappears as a disabled felon. Viktor unexpectedly inherits his father's apartment and quickly arranges for his relocation to a nursing home.
