Chloe lives with her stepson Jacob in a luxurious mansion perched on an isolated peninsula, reachable only by a swing bridge from the mainland. The setting emphasizes wealth and dangerous seclusion that frames the events to come.

Chloe confides to her friend Alice that her rich husband is missing and uncontactable. Three strangers—two men and a woman—stop their car outside, claiming to be lost. Alice goes out to help but is shot and killed.

The intruders force their way into the house while Chloe and Jacob hide. They begin to search for valuables and a secret safe.

Chloe raises the alarm with their private security company; cameras monitor every room. The intruders attempt to locate a hidden stash.

A fourth gang member sabotages the swing bridge to hold back any police response. The plan is to isolate the mansion and stall authorities.

Knox, a female gang member, finds Chloe and Jacob; they overpower her and tie her up. She is later found and released amid the ongoing chaos.

The bridge is opened, and police drive toward the house but are blocked by the fourth gang member. The delay gives the intruders more time to maneuver inside.

The fourth gang member is killed in a gunfight with the police, and the sheriff and several deputies are also killed in the firefight. The violence escalates as officers press the confrontation.

The gang locates the hidden safe but cannot open it. Tension builds around the unknown contents, as everyone realizes the safe holds something of great value.

Chloe is captured; Heflin, the gang leader, kills the failed safecracker to intimidate her into revealing the safe's combination. He taunts her with the claim that he killed her husband and that something valuable lies inside the safe.

She is unable to reveal the code, so she stabs Heflin in the leg and, with Jacob, escapes again. The bond between Chloe and Jacob strengthens as they flee the danger.

Outside, Jacob climbs into an SUV and runs down Knox, killing her. The act amplifies the retaliation and the stakes for the fugitives.

The security company plays a recording of Chloe’s voice through a speaker to lure Heflin away from the others. The ruse creates an opening for Chloe to gain the upper hand.

Chloe kills Heflin with her husband’s gun. The final image lingers on the still unopened safe, surrounded by police evidence markers, suggesting the mystery of its contents remains unresolved.
