Hitman’s Wife’s Bodyguard

Michael Bryce arrives at the Triple A Bodyguard Awards to accept a long-awaited award. During his acceptance, he notices his former client Kurosawa talking to Darius Kincaid. The scene sets the tone of Bryce’s former career and introduces key characters.

Bryce wakes in therapy, recounting a recurring nightmare where Darius Kincaid mocks him and shoots Kurosawa. This highlights Bryce’s current despair over losing his bodyguard career and his psychological struggles. His therapist encourages him to take a break from being a bodyguard.

The EU announces increased sanctions on Greece, leading to the kidnapping of the EU leader in Athens. Aristotle Papadopolous declares his plan to destabilize Europe and kills the EU leader, showcasing the escalating political threat.

Bryce attempts to take a sabbatical at a resort, but Sonia Kincaid arrives with urgent news about her husband Kincaid being taken by the mob. They escape together on motorcycles amidst gunfire, setting their rescue mission in motion.

Magnusson and Veronika present a weapon device to arms dealers in Croatia, activating it to cause a citywide blackout. The weapon’s power impresses Aristotle, who orders the dealers killed to reclaim it.

The weapons dealers are found by Interpol. O’Neill forces Bryce, Sonia, and Kincaid to work together, with Sonia posing as Carlo’s mistress. They plan to get close to Aristotle’s target while under government supervision.

Bryce and Sonia share a romantic day at the opera before heading into their covert mission. They are tasked with delivering a briefcase with a deadly bracelet to Aristotle, maintaining their cover at a nightclub.

Following a clash at the nightclub, Bryce, Sonia, and Kincaid escape on a boat, with Bryce being injured. They then locate Aristotle in Italy, where they are pursued by his hitmen and realize the extent of the threat posed by Aristotle’s superweapon.

Bryce and Kincaid are betrayed and captured by Aristotle’s agents after an intense fight, revealing Aristotle’s personal ties to Sonia and his plans for global destruction. Bryce and Kincaid manage to escape during torture, but Sonia turns against them.

Bryce, Kincaid, and Sonia storm Aristotle’s yacht, engaging in a fierce battle with his henchmen. They confront Aristotle, who is about to trigger the superweapon. The trio works together to destroy the device and escape just before the yacht explodes.

Interpreted by Interpol and O’Neill, the team is praised for their work. Sonia then reveals that the papers Bryce signed are actually adoption papers, making Bryce and Kincaid parents of a child she and Bryce now plan to raise.
