Haunted Castle

Johnny receives word from a British law firm that his estranged mother has died in a helicopter accident and that he has inherited her castle and fortune. He must travel to England to claim the estate. The notification kicks off his journey into the mystery of his mother's past.

As Johnny arrives at the castle, a lightning bolt strikes a grave on the grounds and a glowing sphere rises from it. The sphere seems to be the spirit of his mother, and its appearance signals that the castle is anything but ordinary. He feels drawn deeper into the estate's strange energy.

In a dim hall, suits of armor come alive and attack Johnny. A demonic entity rushes in, shatters the armors, and beckons him further into the castle. The visitor senses a guide or threat pulling him deeper into the mystery.

Johnny enters a room where instruments levitate and play on their own. He then steps into a great hall where an orb embedded in the floor projects the image of his mother. The moment shifts toward a grand musical number as the hologram captivates him.

The holographic mother sings an operatic solo as cameras circle around her, the scene underscored by 'Lane Navachi' from Lunascape's Reflecting Seylence. The performance intensifies the castle's surreal, otherworldly atmosphere. It foreshadows the pull of fame and the danger ahead.

A demonic face appears in the fire and introduces Mr. D, the Devil. He explains that Johnny's mother sold her soul for fame, and that she could not touch Johnny, but now offers him a similar contract. Johnny declines the offer, though the temptation to sign remains strong.

The cathedral-like room's floor descends, plunging Johnny into Hell proper. The tour begins with Mephisto guiding him through the torments of musicians who sold their souls. The hellish landscape reveals the price paid for fame.

Mephisto leads Johnny through various circles of Hell, showcasing the brutal punishments of those who traded their souls for fame. He reveals that rock and roll itself was crafted as a lure to draw people to Hell. Johnny witnesses the music-world's corruption in the afterlife.

Johnny experiences a roller coaster ride through the infernal landscape as the atmosphere grows increasingly perilous. The glowing sphere—the mother’s spirit—appears intermittently to warn him of the danger of signing with Mr. D. The journey tests his will to resist temptation.

In a decrepit opera hall, the worst tortures unfold before him. Mephisto explains that Mr. D once had a romance with an opera singer, which fuels his violent aversion to opera. The revelation deepens Johnny's resolve to resist the devil's offer.

Back in front of Mr. D, Johnny rejects signing again while Mephisto hands him a guitar. He hurls the guitar into the flames and belts out La Donna è Mobile at the top of his lungs, provoking the Devil into a frenzy that collapses the castle. The mother's soul returns to rest as the danger passes.

The story jumps six months forward to show Johnny as a famous rock and roll star, achieved through his own talent rather than demonic aid. He stands on stage performing for crowds that recognize him as a legend. The arc resolves with him having walked away from the devil's bargain, choosing his own path.

The final minutes show a performance by the band Arid during the credits, while bubbles burst by a floating demon drift across the screen. The imagery provides a playful coda to the dark journey. It leaves the audience with a sense of unresolved myth and spectacle.
