Thisara, Kamal Addaraarachchi runs an advertising agency and has had a relationship with his cousin Suramya Yashoda Wimaladharma. When Suramya goes abroad for education, he marries Rangi Sangeetha Weeraratne, a young woman from a wealthy family. Suramya returns after her studies, joins Thisara’s agency, though she could secure a position at a more prestigious firm. Suramya appears traditionally dressed but is highly skilled, educated, and professional, while Rangi, with her Western style, lacks both qualifications and education despite her wealth.

A presidential election unfolds with two main candidates: the current president Sriyantha Mendis and the opposition leader, Jackson Anthony Mahadikaram. Thisara lands a propaganda contract from Gregory. As part of the campaign, he trains a small group to spread rumors about Gregory’s supposed good deeds that never actually happened, calling this approach Guerrilla Marketing. In the end, Gregory wins the election.

Thisara wrestles with inner turmoil over Suramya. He is attracted to her appearance and styling but remains trapped by his marriage to Rangi. The strain pushes him toward a mental breakdown, and he is admitted to a mental hospital. Later, Suramya reveals that she joined Thisara’s agency to exact revenge for being abandoned and remarried; by presenting herself in a way that appealed to his desires, she manipulates the situation and triggers his distress.

In the closing moments, a recovered Thisara drives away, with Rangi seated in the left front seat, echoing Suramya’s former presentation.
