After escaping a prison van, a political activist takes shelter in a luxurious apartment owned by a sensitive young woman. Both are rebels—he against political treachery, she against social oppression—and share bitterness over the dysfunctional state. In solitary confinement he self‑criticizes and dares to question the forbidden leadership, widening a rift that drives each to persist in their struggle, him in exile, her in isolation.
