Balaraju, the head of his village, lives with his wife Baby, their two sons—Chandrasekhar Rao and Bangari—and their two daughters. He dedicates himself to helping Chandrasekhar become a doctor and even builds a local hospital to support the community. On the day the hospital opens, Chandrasekhar returns home with his lover, Kausalya, a fellow doctor who also dreams of marriage and a fresh start abroad. Their wish to marry and move away unsettles Balaraju, sparking a painful rift that ultimately leads to their separation.
Twenty-five years pass, and Chandrasekhar has carved out a successful career as a doctor in London. He sits with his children—Abhiram and Indu—and recounts the family history. To heal the divide, Abhiram decides to travel back to the village to seek reconciliation and restore what was broken. He meets his friend Bunny at the airport and, the next day, ventures to the countryside on Bunny’s bike. En route, he witnesses a cockfight organized by Bangari and Baachi; with Balaraju’s help, Bangari is pardoned while Baachi is arrested. Abhiram presents himself as a London student who has come to learn agriculture and martial arts, and his brave act of saving a child earns him the family’s trust, allowing him to stay.
The story unfolds further with Satya, Balaraju’s granddaughter, returning from Hyderabad. Satya carries a refined, traditional demeanor that both surprises and intrigues Abhiram, who has himself met her before in a Hyderabad pub. The revelation comes when Abhiram’s phone holds pictures of Satya’s time at the pub. He attempts a threatening move by using those photos, but Satya counters by asking Bangari to retrieve Abhiram’s phone. Their scheme fails, and Baachi is dragged into the ensuing conflict.
A fierce rivalry grows between Abhiram and Baachi, culminating in a plan to remove Bangari from the picture by arranging Chitra’s marriage. Satya informs Bangari of this scheme, and Bangari ends up kidnapping Chitra. Abhiram chases the kidnapper, rescues Chitra, and Bangari is swiftly arrested. Satya discovers Abhiram’s true identity on his phone and, in a surprising turn, Abhiram offers to help renovate the hospital with his father’s support; Balaraju accepts the proposition. During this time, Satya learns that Abhiram carries the phone he used to manipulate her, and she deletes the incriminating photos. The two of them strike a deal and begin to fall in love, rekindling a deep, longstanding bond.
Meanwhile, Chitra becomes a friend to Abhiram at the house, and she explains why Bangari was expelled earlier: Bangari’s spoiled nature and drinking problem. Bangari and Chitra grow closer, which complicates Balaraju’s stance, as he cannot fully approve Bangari’s behavior. A troubling episode follows when Bangari, intoxicated, confesses an attempted assault on Chitra, prompting Balaraju to expel him once again. The story deepens as Balaraju’s brother-in-law and his son, Rajendra, hatch plans to establish a special economic zone to manufacture beer. They manage to secure Bangari’s release from jail and have the beer equipment delivered to Hyderabad. Bangari attacks Bunny and grabs the equipment, but Abhiram intervenes, reveals his true identity, and Bangari realizes the harm he has caused. He reconciles with Balaraju, and the equipment is brought to the hospital.
Indu visits the family home, while Satya becomes engaged to an American NR I doctor. Satya confides in Abhiram that she would die if they cannot be together, prompting Abhiram to reconsider their future. He decides to step back from the plan to marry Satya, but Bangari exposes Abhiram and Indu’s true identities to Balaraju, who then orders the pair to leave the house.
Soon after, Abhiram receives a call from his father with plans to return to the village. In a dramatic turn, Baachi kidnaps Indu, and an injured Abhiram fights to save her, even taking a bullet himself. Bangari arrives and, in a unifying moment, argues that Baachi is also part of the family, preventing further harm. Chandrasekhar arrives to operate on Abhiram, and after a tense recovery, Balaraju welcomes Abhiram, Indu, and Chandrasekhar back into the fold. The film closes on a note of reconciliation and new beginnings: Abhiram marries Satya, and Bangari marries Chitra, both celebrations coinciding with Balaraju and Baby’s wedding anniversary.
