Govinda Naam Mera

Govinda works as a backup dancer in Mumbai and dreams of becoming a choreographer. He has a bitter relationship with his wife Gauri and wants a divorce to be with his girlfriend Suku. Gauri demands that Govinda pay her ₹2 crores, returning the dowry money she contributed at the time of their marriage.

Gopi Vishwakarma, Govinda's father, left a bungalow to Govinda and his mother Asha, but Charulata and Vishnu Vishwakarma claim they are rightful owners through Gopi's first marriage. They have waged a long-running legal battle over the bungalow. Asha pretends to be paralyzed to gain sympathy and influence the case in their favor. The dispute fuels tension within the extended family.

Govinda thinks about killing Gauri and even takes a gun from Inspector Javed, an old family ally. He cannot bring himself to shoot her, hesitation that keeps him alive for the moment. Javed then starts pressuring him for ₹2 lakhs for the gun, adding financial stress. Govinda remains unable to meet the demand.

Govinda and Suku get a chance to choreograph a music video for Ajit Dharkar’s drug-addicted son, Sandy. They complete the video and secure substantial screen time, which angers Sandy’s father. Ajit demands repayment of about ₹30 lakhs, escalating their money troubles.

Sandy is found injured in his car, and Govinda and Suku discover and steal drugs from the scene, worth crores of rupees. They agree to sell the drugs to raise cash and fix their precarious situation. They hurry back to Govinda's house, where a new shock awaits them.

Back at Govinda's house, they find Gauri lying dead and decide to bury her in the garden to hide the murder. They are stunned and uncertain about who could be responsible. Their attempt to cover up only adds to their mounting trouble.

The next morning, Manju the maid finds a broken glass with blood and suspects Govinda. She reports her suspicion to Inspector Javed, triggering an official inquiry. The investigation escalates as investigators begin to piece together what happened.

Suku has been secretly feeding information to Vishnu to aid the bungalow case, and Baldev begins to suspect Govinda because of a life insurance policy naming Govinda as the beneficiary. On lawyer Kaustabh's suggestion, Govinda and Asha decide to sell the bungalow to Vishwakarma for ₹2 crores and relocate. The move is framed as a practical solution to the mounting legal and financial pressures.

Sandy notices the drugs are missing from his car, and Ajit receives an anonymous tip that Govinda has them. Govinda is detained along with others who know him as the dragnet tightens. The crackdown signals a turning point in the wider criminal web surrounding the bungalow, drugs, and money.

Police search Govinda's house but cannot locate the drugs. Suku accuses Govinda of murder, and investigators start chasing inconsistent clues. Some drugs are found at Inspector Javed's house, shifting suspicion toward him.

The Vishwakarma family learns that Gopi illegally acquired the land where the bungalow sits and that a school will be built there, undermining their plans. They have already sold the bungalow to a real estate developer for ₹150 crores, complicating the shift in assets. This revelation reshapes the financial stakes and loyalties.

A police raid on Ajit's house uncovers more drugs, leading to Ajit's detention. The drug network begins to unravel as investigators close in on the supply chain. The ripple effects threaten multiple players in the conspiracy.

Six months later, Govinda calls Suku, Vishnu, and Charulata to meet him in Thailand. They are shocked to find Govinda living a luxurious life with Asha and an alive Gauri. He reveals that Suku betrayed him and that the plan to fake Gauri's death and loot the money was a coordinated ruse.

Govinda and the conspirators had plotted to fake Gauri's death, steal the drugs, frame Inspector Javed, and sell the bungalow for a hefty sum. Suku, Vishnu, and Charulata drink a drugged beverage and fall unconscious, while Govinda and the others walk away laughing. The film ends with Govinda orchestrating the con and the others being outplayed.
