Arun Prajapati [Salman Khan] has spent years chasing a breakthrough as a TV anchor, but success remains stubbornly elusive. He carries a quiet frustration, often blaming God for the streak of bad luck that shadows his career. At the same time, his heart keeps returning to Alia Kapoor [Priyanka Chopra Jonas], a glamorous star and fellow anchor on the same channel, yet he struggles to summon the courage to confess his feelings. The workplace takes a sharp turn when a formidable rival, Rakesh Sharma a.k.a. Rocky [Sohail Khan], steps in as the channel’s new face, and Arun starts to fear that Rocky will steal not just the spotlight, but Alia’s attention as well. The tremor of this new threat unsettles Arun, and soon a bitter development follows: Arun is sacked after Rocky sabotages the launch of his own show. In the fallout, he finds himself with no one to blame but God himself, a confrontation that becomes the catalyst for the film’s central, fantastical twist. Arun’s Boss [Dalip Tahil] looms in the background, a steady reminder of the industry’s unforgiving ladder, while Arun’s personal life at home remains anchored by Arun’s Mother [Beena Kak], and the loyal presence of Arun’s Maid [Upasna Singh], who observe the chaos from the ground up.

The moment of fantasy arrives when Arun encounters the divine in person. After a heated exchange, God [Amitabh Bachchan] grants Arun control over all things for ten days, a window through which he may prove his ability to shape reality itself. With this newfound power, Arun takes bold steps to reclaim his career, forcing Rocky into uncomfortable choices and, crucially, attempting to win back Alia Kapoor. The dramatic premise pivots on whether power can be used responsibly or if it merely amplifies a person’s own desires. Arun’s temptations rise as he tests the limits of his authority and discovers that manipulating outcomes for one’s own sake is far easier than managing the consequences.

As the days unfold, Arun leans toward a broader, more impersonal approach: to save time and effort, he begins granting everyone’s wishes, a sweeping decision that even includes criminals seeking freedom. He also grants Rocky’s own wish for Alia to marry him, a move that immediately destabilizes the couple’s relationship and sets off a cascade of trouble. The wedding becomes a battleground where the unintended consequences of unlimited intervention collide with real human risk, culminating in a dramatic moment when Alia is shot by one of the criminals. In the wake of the incident, Arun confronts God and asks why such chaos has spiraled from his actions.

God explains that the mess is ultimately the result of Arun’s own choices, and not simply the world’s fault. Realizing the harm his meddling has caused, Arun feels true remorse, and God forgives him, offering a clean slate and a chance to begin again. The story pivots again on the game show arc, where Arun masterminds a reveal that exposes Rocky for lying about loving Alia and for stealing the show’s concept. The revelation fractures Rocky’s standing and, in turn, tests Alia’s trust. Though Alia pulls away for a time, the narrative resolves with Arun reflecting on his missteps and ultimately winning Alia’s heart once more, sealing a return to balance as the dust settles and a new, wiser chapter begins.
