Cobra Commander blasts Hawk with a DNA mixture, but the full Venomization process is incomplete and the attempt fails. Hawk's status remains crucial as Cobra seeks a complete conversion. The Joes witness the setback and start to adapt their strategy.

Cyborg BAT Overkill uses a device to scramble Hawk's DNA with the alien samples, transforming him into Venomous Maximus while suppressing his memories. The transformation signals Cobra's shift toward a more animalistic, controlled force. Maximus begins to emerge as a formidable, mind-controlled threat.

With Hawk transformed, Cobra relocates to a recently stolen missile launching facility. Slash and Slice's BATs and Venoms assist in securing the base. The Joes must pivot quickly to retake this critical military asset.

Venomous Maximus forms an alliance with Overkill, promising equality and respect when he seizes Cobra's leadership. This uneasy partnership deepens Cobra's threat as the two factions pursue control. The Joes reassess how to counter a hybrid commander who commands both brains and brawn.

The Joes mount an assault to reclaim the base and work on an antidote to nullify the Venoms. They race against time as Maximus mutinies earlier, complicating Cobra's plans. The antidote's development becomes a turning point in the battle.
