In Washington, D.C., RS-1 is slated to debut at a convention in Hong Kong. Dr. Cameron demonstrates the robot to investors, but Kurt hacks the system and triggers a malfunction. RS-1 fires on the crowd until Agents Tucker and Curtis shoot the control panel, revealing Kurt's plan to steal RS-1 with the help of rogue FBI agent Quincy.

Kurt, the fired designer, plots to steal RS-1. He intends to recruit Quincy, a rogue FBI agent, to help him. The plan plants the seed for a high-stakes heist that will migrate to Hong Kong as the main stage for the scheme.

Match and Alien arrive in Hong Kong undercover as weapons dealers to locate Edison, a missing officer. They subdue a dealer and discover a room filled with beaten victims. The gang has stolen the Hong Kong police entry for the robot convention, forcing their cover to be blown and leading to arrests.

The next day at headquarters, Dr. Tang demonstrates the recovered Hong Kong robot to the officers. The demonstration confirms the city’s access to RS-1 and ramps up anticipation for the convention. Tension remains as the team watches for any signs of Kurt’s plan resurfacing.

On the day of the convention, FBI agent Jane Quigley attempts a demonstration of the security system, but it fails to operate correctly. The malfunction raises the stakes and signals that Kurt’s crew may have inside access. The failure sets the stage for a dramatic confrontation with the rogue elements.

Edison receives a call from Kurt and meets him at Jumbo Restaurant. Kurt drugs Edison with a hypnosis drug and steals RS-1 while the security system remains compromised. Kurt then hacks RS-1 and uses it to kill Doctor Cameron, revealing his brutal intent.

Edison recovers and learns that Doctor Cameron was killed by RS-1 under Kurt’s manipulation. He discovers that Quincy had actually died while attempting to kill him. Ian confronts Edison, sparking a clash that ends with Edison escaping and taking Jane hostage.

A tense standoff unfolds with Match, Alien, and FBI agents. Edison and Jane escape and wind up in Kurt’s van, where Edison pieces together the conspiracy. The group prepares to recover RS-1 and bring Kurt to justice.

Edison recalls a man in a lobster suit from his hypnosis. He and Jane locate the lobsters-man, but they are pursued by Match, Alien, and the FBI. The lobster-man helps Edison flee, while Match and Alien end up in the hospital after the confrontation.

Edison tracks Kurt to an abandoned warehouse. Match and Alien arrive and corner Kurt, who escapes again. They eventually bring Edison back to headquarters, where the cops are briefly hailed as heroes despite lingering doubts about his innocence.

Aided by Oli and Peggy, Match’s tech friends, they tap into Edison's memories to locate RS-1. Jane agrees to help, and they learn that Kurt intends to sell RS-1 to an Arab terrorist network. The investigation expands beyond a single culprit to a larger, more dangerous plot.

They uncover Kurt’s plan to sell RS-1 at a black-market deal. Ross is revealed to be complicit, alongside Quincy, in the scheme. Ian arrives with a tracking device hidden on Ross, setting up the final confrontation as Kurt attempts to complete the deal with RS-1.

Kurt unleashes RS-1 on the city, prompting chaos as the group races to stop him. Tang uploads a virus to RS-1, triggering a fatal sequence that destroys Kurt. Ian arrives and, with the team, traps RS-1 using a chain, preventing further disaster.

The four cops drive RS-1 to the harbor and push it into the water, where it explodes. The victory is bittersweet as they ensure RS-1 cannot threaten the city again. The case closes with the heroes salvaging the truth and bringing Kurt’s broader scheme down.
