Jon Arbuckle is Garfield's human owner, caught between ordinary life and the animated chaos invading the Real World. He participates in rescues and navigates the strangeness of toon life in urban spaces. His patience and humor anchor the human side of the story.

Shecky is an alley cat who yearns for stardom and becomes a key ally to Garfield and Odie. He provides streetwise insights and introduces the duo to Club Shecky, the alley’s hub for stray performers. His optimism helps the group stay hopeful amid danger.
