Lucky and Zakes become increasingly involved in Nazareth's criminal activities, gradually abandoning their dreams of education. The thrill of financial gain from petty thefts begins to overshadow their initial hopes for a better life.

Their trajectory spirals after a disastrous final robbery that leads to the capture of Nazareth and the death of multiple crew members. Lucky and Zakes barely escape this catastrophe, leaving behind a chaotic and destructive chapter of their lives.

Lucky and Zakes relocate to Johannesburg, hoping to assume a fresh start after their narrow escape. This new chapter sees Lucky working towards a better future, away from the shadows of crime.

A decade later, Lucky becomes a successful taxi business owner in Hillbrow. However, his newfound success quickly crumbles when he becomes the victim of a violent carjacking, which leaves his business in shambles.

In the face of adversity, Lucky channels his disappointment into the creation of the 'Hillbrow People’s Housing Trust'. This initiative aims to provide affordable housing for the community, showcasing his commitment to giving back.
