On the couple's anniversary night, Kabir, returning home after shopping, is attacked on the street by four masked gangsters. Just as he falls, a fifth shooter wounds him, leaving him fighting for life. He is rushed to the hospital where a shocked Ruhi arrives, setting the stage for the truth to unfold.

The film flashes back to Kabir in jail, where the older prisoner Jamal orders him to kill his cellmate to prove his loyalty. Kabir carries out the murder and earns Jamal's trust, becoming a key recruit. This brutal initiation marks the birth of his criminal path.

Years pass and Kabir becomes Guru, a renowned gangster who does exactly what Jamal tells him. He is always accompanied by his close friend Guti, forming a tight inner circle. The duo navigates the brutal world of their gang with growing influence.

Guru starts showing signs of wanting to leave the criminal life behind. He is ordered to kill Vishnu, an ex-member, but instead warns Vishnu to run. Later, Jamal's men kill Vishnu, deepening Guru's internal conflict about loyalty and power.

Guru persuades Tommy to share 70% of the business with Jamal, consolidating power. At a party, conspirators including Chhotu, Tommy, and Jameson trap Guru in an accident. A pretty girl appears amid the chaos, drawing Guru's attention and complicating the scheme.

Guru survives the conspiracy and later meets Ruhi in the hospital, where he pays expenses for a conspirator. Over time they grow close, and their relationship deepens into marriage. This union marks a softer, personal side of Guru’s life.

Guru and Ruhi seek Jamal's blessing for their marriage. Jamal hints that a normal life is impossible and asks for a gift in return. Guru agrees, accepting that his past may always pull him back into violence.

Back in the present, Ruhi tries to kill Kabir to ensure his death, but the police arrive and stop her. As Kabir regains consciousness, he and Ruhi reconcile, with Ruhi pretending normalcy to hide her guilt. The couple operates under a fragile truce.

Guti investigates and discovers the shooters are Tommy, Chhotu, Jamal, and Jameson, but the identity of the fifth shooter remains a mystery. Kabir begins pressuring himself to uncover who shot him and why.

In the hospital parking lot, Ruhi's goons attack, and Kabir arrives too late to save his unborn child. Guti sacrifices himself in the confrontation. Enraged and grief-stricken, Kabir vows revenge and sets out to eliminate those who shot him.

Kabir tracks down and kills conspirators Chhotu, Jameson, and Tommy one by one. Guti has already fallen in the line of duty, leaving Kabir to confront the looming threat of Jamal while nursing his losses.

Kabir finally corners and kills Jamal. In a twist, a police inspector reveals that Ruhi was the fifth shooter, warning Kabir to arrest her alive and turning the revenge saga on its head.

The truth comes out at the place where Kabir first met Ruhi and at her mother's shop: Ruhi's motive was revenge for Vishnu's death, and she had manipulated events to kill Kabir. As Kabir confronts this revelation, a car hits him and he dies; Ruhi mourns, and his voice lingers in her memory.
