Friday the 13th

In 1958, two counselors at Camp Crystal Lake, Barry and Claudette, sneak away from a campfire sing-along. Their romantic moment is swiftly interrupted by an unseen assailant who brutally murders them, perfectly setting the stage for upcoming horrors.

On June 13th, a young woman named Annie arrives at a small diner seeking directions to Camp Crystal Lake. The patrons, particularly an old man named Ralph, express concern, warning her that the camp is cursed and that they are all 'doomed.'

Annie is offered a ride by a friendly truck driver named Enos, who recounts a tragic tale about a boy who drowned in the lake in 1957, the same year as the murder of the counselors. This dark history contributes to Annie's growing anxiety as they near the camp.

After being dropped off, Annie is picked up by an unseen driver in a Jeep. Panic arises, causing her to jump from the moving vehicle, only to be hunted down in the woods and fatally attacked with a bowie knife by her mysterious pursuer.

At Camp Crystal Lake, the remaining counselors, including Ned, Jack, Bill, Marcie, Alice, and Brenda, are hard at work refurbishing the cabins. Their efforts are interrupted by bizarre events, including a prank involving a fake drowning and a snake discovery.

Ralph, the ominous old man from the diner, makes another appearance at the camp, reiterating his foreboding warnings about the dangers that await the counselors. His presence adds to the dreadful atmosphere surrounding the camp.

As a violent storm begins to brew, Steve leaves the camp to gather supplies. Oblivious to the lurking danger, he ventures out into the dark, leaving the counselors potentially vulnerable to the unseen killer.

The unidentified killer starts picking off the counselors one by one. Jack and Marcie seek shelter in a cabin, where Jack meets a gruesome demise from an arrow shot through the bed.

Marcie hears strange noises and, as she goes to investigate, she is brutally murdered by the killer. The camp environment grows ever darker as the number of survivors dwindles.

Brenda is enticed outside by a child-like voice calling for help. Venturing out into the rain, she falls victim to the hooded killer, leaving the remaining counselors in fear as they grow increasingly concerned about their missing friends.

Bill and Alice begin searching for their missing friends and stumble upon a bloody axe in Brenda's bed, confirming the horror of foul play. Their attempts to reach out for help are thwarted without functional vehicles or phone lines.

While struggling to return to camp, Steve encounters difficulties after a meal, finding himself stuck. He eventually gets a ride but is killed by his pursuer, further deepening the sense of loss and dread at the camp.

With the camp's lights extinguished, Alice ventures out to find the power generator but discovers Bill's body pinned to a door. The situation escalates further as Brenda's corpse is thrown through a window, cementing her terrifying reality.

Alice encounters Mrs. Voorhees, who reveals herself as the mother of the drowned boy, Jason. In a desperate battle for survival, Alice fights and ultimately decapitates Mrs. Voorhees, but the horror seems far from over.

In a state of shock, Alice escapes to a canoe and drifts out into the lake, only to be jolted awake by Jason's decomposing body pulling her underwater. When she wakes up in a hospital, the terror lingers as she learns that Jason was never found.
