In his spare time, he pours energy into building miniature airplanes, a hobby that offers him a fleeting sense of control and order. His life unfolds against a tragic backdrop: as a child, his father killed his mother and then took his own life, leaving Freddy under the care of his aunt Persis, who has guarded him ever since.
At a relative’s wedding, Freddy spots a woman named Kainaaz and musters the courage to speak to her, only to be rebuffed by her wealthy husband, Rustom, who is in charge of the wedding catering. The next day, Kainaaz visits Freddy’s clinic requesting a simple procedure—an extraction of her wisdom tooth. Freddy carries out the surgery and soon finds himself drawn to her. He begins to linger near her home, hoping for a glimpse, and what he sees unsettles him: Kainaaz is being violently treated by Rustom. When they talk later, she reveals the harsh reality of her situation—Rustom is abusive, and she fears he might kill her if she ever tries to leave. They start dating in secret, and a shared longing blooms between them. They even discuss marriage, amid a dangerous plan to remove Rustom from the equation forever.
The decision is made with brutal clarity: Freddy will kill Rustom. He executes the plan by running Rustom down with his car and then retreating to a farmhouse in Karjat, where he stays for a week and even has the damaged vehicle repaired. The case appears closed to the authorities, who find no concrete evidence linking Freddy to Rustom’s death. However, Freddy’s sense of certainty—and of being in control—begins to slip when he returns to Kainaaz’s world and discovers a devastating truth: she never loved him. She reveals that she used him to arrange her own escape with Raymond, a chef she wants to be with, and to take over the restaurant once owned by her husband.
This revelation shatters Freddy, but it also stirs a new, chilling resolve: revenge. He hatches a carefully plotted response. In a calculated move, he replaces Kainaaz’s face wash with a liquid dishwasher detergent, exploiting her allergy to sodium sulfate. He also sabotages Raymond’s car by removing the brake fluid, ensuring a dangerous fault in the vehicle. The consequences unfold in a cascade: Kainaaz wakes with a rash all over her skin, the accident injures them both, and an online review accusing the restaurant of contamination appears, accompanied by an lewd photo that tarnishes their reputation. Freddy becomes the target of their anger, yet the police already suspect him, unable to prove anything because Freddy had secretly deleted photos and messages from their phones while they slept.
A crucial turn arrives when the couple—blaming Freddy for the misfortune—show up at his doorstep and beat him. The authorities arrive, and while Kainaaz and Raymond claim Freddy killed Rustom, they cannot produce proof; Freddy has erased the critical digital threads that could convict him. In a cruel twist, they return later and kill Hardy, Freddy’s loyal animal companion, leaving him more isolated and vengeful than ever. An eyewitness to Rustom’s murder provides the police with the number of Freddy’s car, but not the driver’s face, complicating the case further. Freddy, in an effort to deflect suspicion, fabricates a story—he suggests Raymond took his car to commit the murder and even fabricates messages from Kainaaz’s phone on his own device to mislead the investigation.
With the net closing in, Freddy arranges a final confrontation at his farmhouse. He contacts Kainaaz and Raymond, inviting them to apologize and to bring a suitcase, hinting at forgiveness and reprieve. The authorities, misled by CCTV footage of them departing with the suitcase, believe they have fled. The truth, however, is far darker. Freddy captures them, and in a harrowing sequence, he removes both of their teeth without anesthesia, sealing their fate. As he buries Kainaaz beside Raymond, Freddy delivers one last, chilling line to the woman he once loved. He lies down between the two bodies, and the screen fades to black.
