Franklin and the Turtle Lake Treasure

The Turtle family gathers at Granny's house to celebrate the visit of Franklin's paternal aunt, Lucy, who is an archaeologist. Sam's mischievous nature and her boastful claim of being older create tension with Franklin, setting up ongoing rivalry between the two.

Franklin uncovers a hand-drawn map of Turtle Lake among Lucy's belongings and realizes it was drawn by Granny. Granny then explains that as a child she lived at Turtle Lake, found a secret place, buried a painted tin box, and drew the map, though she never opened it again.

A local turtle woman introduces a talisman similar to Granny's and explains its psychic power, hinting that this artifact is connected to Granny's box. Franklin contemplates whether the talisman is the true reason Granny wanted them to seek the box.

The next day they meet Little Crow, an orphan bird, who shows them the box's location but reveals that someone has already dug it up. Snail is then kidnapped by falcon chicks, forcing the group to plan a rescue.

Franklin and Sam, after recognizing that their disagreements hinder their mission, join forces to rescue Snail. Their teamwork grows as they approach the falcon nest together.

The Falcon Mama discovers her chicks' antics, but lets Snail go and decides to adopt Little Crow into the family, restoring hope for the mission. This act reinforces the team's decision to continue hunting for Granny's box.

Following the old turtle woman's hint that 'the treasure is under the rainbow,' the group traverses a mountain pass during a rainstorm and discovers a cave. Inside, a crystal chandelier splits sunlight into a rainbow, guiding them to the treasure's location.

In the cave they meet Grizzly, who explains he found the box long ago with a metal detector and has since forgotten where he hid it. He provides crucial aid as they continue their search.
