Victor Frankenstein Creates a Monster

In 1795, Dr. Victor Frankenstein assembles a monster from corpse parts and attempts to reanimate it. Upon seeing his creation, Frankenstein is horrified and tries to destroy it, but the monster survives. The creature then murders Frankenstein's wife Elizabeth, prompting Frankenstein to pursue it across the Arctic.

Frankenstein Succumbs to the Cold

Frankenstein chases the monster to the Arctic but succumbs to the freezing weather and dies. Meanwhile, the monster, mourning Frankenstein, returns home to bury him but is attacked by demons. It is then rescued by two gargoyles, Ophir and Keziah, who take it to a cathedral.

Naberius' demons, led by Zuriel, attack the gargoyle cathedral, killing many and causing the ascension of several gargoyles, including Ophir and Keziah. Zuriel captures Leonore and takes her to an abandoned theater to force a trade involving Adam.
