Q1

What are the frankenfish in the movie?

The frankenfish are genetically engineered Chinese snake-head fish created by a wealthy hunter named Jeff. They are humanoid, air-breathing predators that can survive on land and leap out of the water to attack humans. These creatures were designed as the ultimate hunting trophy but escaped into the bayou after a hurricane three months before the main events of the film.

Foreshadowing: The strange boat that washed up three months earlier carried the experimental fish, which then began reproducing in the swamp.
