Flushed Away

Roddy St. James lives a life of luxury as a pampered pet, enjoying all the comforts of his Kensington apartment. He relishes the attention from his owners and the plush surroundings that his lifestyle offers.

One fateful night, a sewer rat named Sid emerges from the drain and disrupts Roddy's tranquil life. Sid's appearance sparks a series of unexpected events as Roddy realizes his space is being invaded.

In an attempt to reclaim his apartment, Roddy tries to flush Sid down the toilet, deceitfully presenting it as a Jacuzzi. However, Sid turns the tables by flushing Roddy instead, propelling him into the sewers.

Roddy finds himself in Ratropolis, a chaotic sewer city that resembles London. This strange new world is vastly different from his comfortable life, filled with surprises and challenges.

In Ratropolis, Roddy encounters Rita Malone, a savvy scavenger with a boat named the Jammy Dodger. Rita proves to be resourceful, and Roddy hopes she can help him find his way back to his luxurious home.

Roddy and Rita are captured by Spike and Whitey, henchmen of the villainous Toad. They are taken to face the Toad, who has sinister plans for them involving revenge and a stolen ruby.

The Toad reveals his intent to freeze Roddy and Rita using liquid nitrogen for a ruby taken by Rita’s father. The stakes couldn't be higher as they must escape his clutches to survive.

Roddy discovers that the prized ruby is a fake and shatters it, much to Rita's dismay. To mend their alliance, he promises to find a real ruby if she helps him return to Kensington.

While visiting Rita’s family, Roddy mistakenly believes Rita is betraying him and runs away with the Jammy Dodger. Fortunately, Rita catches up with him and clarifies the misunderstanding, allowing them to reunite.

In a twist of fate, the Toad calls upon his French cousin Le Frog after failing to capture Roddy and Rita effectively. This revelation sheds light on the Toad's past and motivates him to escalate his pursuit.

Roddy and Rita narrowly escape from Le Frog, but the Jammy Dodger does not survive the encounter. This loss deepens their resolve to confront the Toad and save themselves.

Just when Roddy makes amends with Rita and offers her a promised ruby, disaster strikes when the Toad kidnaps her. Roddy is left desperate and determined to rescue her from the Toad's grasp.

Determined to save Rita, Roddy teams up with Sid to thwart the Toad's evil plan. They devise a strategy to confront the Toad and his henchmen, rallying their courage for the fight ahead.

As the World Cup approaches, Roddy uncovers the Toad's plan to flood Ratropolis during the game. With Sid's strength, they confront the Toad, outsmarting him and saving the city.

Roddy chooses to stay in Ratropolis with Rita, celebrating his heroism with her family. They embark on a new adventure aboard the Jammy Dodger II, marking a fresh start together.

In a humorous mid-credits scene, Sid revels in his newfound comfort in Roddy's Kensington apartment. His newfound luck quickly turns, however, as he encounters a terrifying new cat.
