Ayako, a emotionally withdrawn strip‑club dancer, still feels the sting of her mother’s suicide from her childhood. When she meets Daiji, a patient potter, the two begin a tentative romance, but after she quits the club and decides to go back to her hometown after a ten‑year absence, she leaves Daiji behind, confronting the unresolved pain of her past.
