In the heartwarming yet bittersweet backdrop of a rust-belt town beside the Monongahela River in 1983, a delightful romantic comedy unfolds against the festive spirit of Christmas Eve. The narrative begins to blossom when Tony’s best friend Angelo encourages him to embrace the night a couple of days before Christmas. That’s when he serendipitously meets Beth, who has found herself abandoned by her boyfriend Prentice, who opted for a skiing excursion instead of their planned holiday together.
