The Farmer blames Blitzer because the dog was holding the keys to the Harvester when Lu-La accidentally launched and destroyed it. The Farmer's frustration is misdirected, he takes out his anger on Blitzer rather than recognizing that Lu-La, a curious alien who mistook the machine for a spaceship, was truly responsible for the accident.

Earlier, the Farmer had given Blitzer a stern warning about keeping the sheep under control, establishing the dynamic where Blitzer takes the blame for the flock's mischief.

Lu-La possesses the ability of vocal mimicry, which she demonstrates throughout the film by making various sounds. Together, Shaun and Lu-La use this ability to imitate Agent Red's voice, allowing them to access her office and retrieve the egg-shaped device during the MAD base escape sequence.

The MAD agents respond to the alien burp that Lu-La produces after devouring the candy and soda at the supermarket. This loud, earth-shattering burp draws the Ministry of Alien Detection to the crash site, leading them to seize the ship and transport it to their secret base as evidence.

Lu-La's sugary binge at the supermarket was played for comedy earlier in the film, establishing her love for candy.

Farmer Joe capitalizes on the recent UFO sightings and the mysterious crash by creating an alien-themed amusement park called Farmageddon. The town's enthusiasm for the supernatural, combined with the genuine mystery surrounding the events, draws enough visitors for Farmer Joe to quickly earn enough money to buy a new Harvester.

Farmer Joe previously investigated the crash with Bingo, giving him firsthand knowledge to exploit the alien fascination.

Blitzer notices Shaun prancing into the woods and, driven by concern for the sheep's safety, immediately races after him without hesitation. This protective instinct leads Blitzer to the crash site where he becomes entangled in an alien sleeping pod, unconscious.
