Valli’s backstory reveals she was a naturally gifted athlete whose promise was derailed when a corrupt coach, Raja Singh Ravi Prakash, accused her of failing a gender verification and derailed her career. The punishment weighed heavily on her, and her father’s heart gave way to grief. JP’s mentorship, paired with Valli’s resilience, rekindles Harish’s determination to run not just for himself but for those who were wronged.
Moved by Valli’s struggle and spurred by Geetha’s encouragement, Harish trains with renewed purpose and eventually wins the marathon. He uses the moment to publicly affirm Valli’s innocence, contributing to Raja Singh’s arrest and restoring Valli’s standing in the sport. Returning to his original name, Harish establishes a training academy to guide others, carrying forward the lessons of perseverance and honesty. In a hopeful turn, Dinakaran [Dinesh Ravi]—acting on Harish’s advice—proposes to Valli, and she accepts, sealing a future shaped by courage, truth, and teamwork.
