Ernest Scared Stupid

In the tranquil town of Briarville, Missouri, a malevolent force known as Trantor emerges. This evil entity wreaks havoc by transforming innocent children into wooden puppets to satisfy his insatiable hunger.

The determined townsfolk, led by the brave Phineas Worrell, unite to capture Trantor. Amidst a grave ritual, they imprison the evil force beneath an ancient oak tree, sealing him away.

Before his imprisonment, Trantor curses the Worrell family, proclaiming that he will rise again on Halloween at the hands of a Worrell descendant. This curse leads each generation to forget their dark heritage.

Fast forward a hundred years, sanitation worker Ernest P. Worrell stumbles upon an ancient book while helping friends build a treehouse at the cursed oak tree. Unbeknownst to him, this innocent discovery reignites Trantor's sinister presence.

On the eve of Halloween, Joey unknowingly ventures into Trantor's lair. The evil troll captures him, transforming him into a lifeless wooden doll, which sends Ernest into a frantic scramble for help.

Despite the growing danger, the townsfolk are engrossed in Halloween festivities, ignoring Ernest's desperate cries for assistance. This apathy puts more children at risk as Trantor continues to strike.
