It follows a family who travel from village to village, selling meat and running a small fairground, relying solely on themselves. Simultaneously, it profiles two educated women who have become millionaires by inventing a vegetable protein product. The film examines the realities of modern society and a more traditional, rural lifestyle, questioning whether these successes ultimately contribute to a better world.
