Ek Thi Daayan

In the past, Diana moves into the building after Bobo descends into hell via the elevator. She charms Bobo's father and becomes a trusted part of the household, while the young Bobo grows wary of her. The stage is set for a dark influence to creep into their lives.

Diana quickly becomes a caring presence in the home, winning over Bobo's father and settling into family life. Bobo watches her with growing unease, convinced she is more than she appears. The seeds of supernatural danger begin to grow in silence.

On Diana's birthday during the night of the red moon, she lures the children into a game of hide-and-seek that doubles as a ritual to restore her powers. Bobo watches from his hiding place as his father returns and discovers Misha's body; Diana reveals herself as a malevolent witch. In a final confrontation, Bobo's father dies and Bobo uses his dagger to cut off Diana's ponytail, causing the witch to crumble into dust.

Back in the present, Dr. Palit dismisses Bobo's hallucinations as fantasy, encouraging him to move on. Bobo's insistence then erupts in a restaurant outburst, after which he is knocked unconscious and taken to the hospital. Tamara learns of his visions, sowing seeds of doubt about his sanity.

Recovering, Bobo asks Tamara to marry him and they welcome the ten-year-old Zubin into their family. The couple enjoys a period of happiness and normalcy, a fragile calm before the growing threat. Bobo remains haunted by the memories of his past life.

During a magic show, Lisa Dutt enters the scene and appears to captivate everyone, including Tamara. Bobo's subconscious screams that the daayan is back, but everyone seems taken with Lisa's charm. Lisa even buys Bobo's old house, deepening his suspicions about her true nature.

At Lisa's housewarming, Tamara falls from a balcony and is rushed to the hospital. Lisa visits and tries to smooth things over by unhooking Tamara's IV bag, but Bobo explodes with suspicion, recognizing manipulation or worse. The incident heightens the sense that a malevolent force is targeting his family.

Dr. Palit confirms Bobo's fears and reveals disturbing truths about the case, but he is found dead in his home, with a sinister lizard lurking nearby. A note clutched in Palit's hand mentions Zubin's name, and Bobo learns Zubin has vanished from the exhibition. The search leads him to the supernatural escalation threatening the boy.

Racing to the exhibition, Bobo discovers Zubin missing and hurries to his old home, only to ride the elevator down to hell. There he finds Zubin on a sacrificial altar and the daayan prepared to drain his life to sustain her powers. Tamara is revealed to be the daayan, and Diana explains that Bobo himself is a pishaach.

Realizing his true nature as a pischaach, Bobo taps into black magic and the night of the red moon grants him strength to confront Tamara. He appears to kill her and returns his power to Satan, but Diana counterattacks with her hair, the source of her power, leaving him vulnerable. The battle shifts in a perilous balance of power.

With Diana weakening, Zubin seizes a sacrificial dagger and, guided by his father's memory, cuts off Diana's ponytail. Diana's power crumbles again, and she promises to return. Bobo survives the ordeal, but the fight leaves scars on his family.

Back in the waking world, Bobo tells Zubin that everyone has a little of both magic and witchcraft in them. He later meets Lisa at a cafe, and when she asks why he acted so aggressively, he admits, 'I thought you were a daayan.' The film closes on this uneasy, unresolved note.
