Inside a secret navy facility devoted to covert experiments, Female Military Officer strides into a secured observation room filled with electronic monitors and shelves lined with dissected fish specimens. She demands that one of the scientists accompany her immediately, insisting the operation cannot continue without a second witness. The Senior Scientist protests, reminding her that navy protocols require two people in the room at all times, but the officer makes it clear he has little choice.
The remaining scientist watches the security monitor as they depart, the room falling to a tense quiet punctuated only by the hum of machines. Seizing the moment, he begins to trigger override commands on the facility’s computer. A warning blares to life, and the monitor casts a harsh glow over a large observation window. Beyond the glass lies a dark, tiled and dirty chamber, with a wide bath at its center, filled with a thick, black viscous liquid. Above the doorway, warning lights flash red, then green. A webbed hand slowly curls around the door frame.
Out of the darkness appears the Eel Girl, naked, her pale skin marked by visible gills in her cheeks and small fins along her forearms. She steps into the room, moving around the bath, then slips beneath the surface of the black liquid. In the observation room, the computer’s warnings flash more insistently as the Eel Girl climbs back up and approaches the window, pressing her hands against the glass and studying the scientist with a slow, deliberate gaze, her mouth opening and closing to reveal rows of sharp teeth.
She signals with her eyes, and the scientist—reluctantly, almost against his will—moves to the security door that connects their rooms, entering the code and stepping inside to meet her. Inside, she waits. He enters, and they share a moment that quickly turns intimate, but it ends in violence: her jaw extends, she shoves his head into her mouth, lifts him high, and swallows him whole, vomiting his shredded clothes as she consumes him. She climbs back into the bath, caressing her now massively enlarged belly, the scientist inside still alive.
The scene closes with the Eel Girl settling back into the dark bath, the room again quiet except for the faint ripples of liquid and the eerie, unsettling sense that life persists inside the strange creature.
