Fifteen years after a global apocalypse, humanity teeters on the brink of extinction. In a desolate British countryside, one boy has managed to survive by remaining isolated, avoiding the brutal reality where food is scarce and people steal and kill to stay alive. His solitary existence is shattered when he encounters another group of survivors, forcing him to confront a dangerous enemy and challenging his understanding of survival itself.
