Jenny and Steve head out on a romantic getaway to a secluded lake in the English countryside, expecting a peaceful retreat. The couple is excited about spending quality time together in a picturesque setting.

On their way to the lake, Jenny and Steve meet a young boy who appears hesitant to interact with them. This brief encounter adds an ominous tone to their journey, hinting at unsettling events to come.

Upon arriving at the beach, Jenny and Steve anticipate a relaxing day but are soon interrupted by a rowdy group of teenagers and their disruptive dog. Despite the chaos, Steve insists on staying, determined not to let the teens intimidate them.

As night falls, Jenny and Steve set up camp in a tent, hoping for a peaceful night. Unfortunately, they are disappointed to find their food infested with insects the following morning, adding frustration to their getaway.

Ignoring Jenny's protests, Steve explores a nearby house seeking answers from the teens' father, leading to a tense confrontation. The situation escalates, forcing Steve to flee back to the lake in fear.

After Steve goes scuba diving, the couple discovers their beach bag containing their car keys, phone, and wallet has vanished. This shocking realization marks the beginning of their escalating nightmare.

While attempting to retrieve their belongings, Jenny and Steve confront the teenagers in the woods. Tensions explode when a scuffle breaks out, resulting in a tragic accident involving Brett's dog.

After recovering their keys and attempting to escape, Jenny and Steve find their vehicle stuck on a steep slope. The gang returns, bombarding them with rocks, which leads to a violent crash into a tree.

As the chaos unfolds, Steve urges Jenny to flee while he struggles with the wreckage. She manages to escape into the woods, alone and terrified as the gang closes in on Steve.

The next day, Jenny discovers a disturbing trail of blood leading from the crash site, revealing that the gang has captured Steve. She witnesses the horrific torture happening to him, heightening her sense of desperation.

Using Steve's GPS to locate herself, Jenny frantically runs from the gang who are hunting her down. As she escapes, Steve manages to break free from his captors, but their moment of reunion is fraught with danger.

Jenny's brief elation at reuniting with Steve quickly turns bleak when the gang catches up to them once again. In a horrifying twist, Steve is brutally murdered in front of her, shattering her last hope.

As Jenny attempts to escape, she is betrayed by the young boy she met earlier, Adam. The film concludes with a chilling scene in Brett's home, where Jenny must confront the violent reality of familial betrayal, leaving her fate ambiguous.
