A group of vampire lords gathers at a quiet rural farmhouse for a ceremonial summit to discuss quotas. The gathering feels perilous, with centuries of power at stake. During the talks, Thomas is executed for going over quota and for taking children.

Vanessa arrives late with Sebastian as her guest, proposing him as a replacement. Peter Boniface objects, signaling a rift within the leadership.

Sebastian tries to escape but is quickly recaptured. Rather than execute him, the lords decide to keep him alive as bait, sealing him in the basement with Mr. Thatcher and Mrs. Thatcher.

Larousse, a religious figure, urges wiping out the coven entirely. Bingham is motivated by profit, hoping to capture a vampire for a cosmetics company and to conduct scientific testing.

A strike team moves in and battles the vampires, surprised to find multiple 'cold bodies'. Gunfire erupts as the lords defend themselves, and Chen and Alice are killed while Vanessa is captured.
