Easter Bunny Kill! Kill!

In the night before Easter, a lowlife named Remington robs a convenience store armed with a shotgun and wears an Easter Bunny mask. He shoots the clerk in the mouth, showing brutal indifference to the life he threatens. The act introduces his violent nature and sets the tone for the rest of the night.

After the robbery, Remington begins charming his way into the life of widow Mindy Peters, moving into her home where she cares for her cerebral palsy-afflicted son Nicholas. He manipulates situations to appear helpful while hiding his true intentions. Mindy and Nicholas gradually welcome him into their routine.

Nicholas befriends a disfigured vagrant who gives him a strange rabbit and insists it is the Easter Bunny. The gift becomes a secret focal point for the boy, offering him a fragile comfort amid growing tension at home. The vagrant's presence foreshadows darker events to come.

Nicholas decides to keep the rabbit secret from his mother, but Remington discovers it and threatens to kill it if Nicholas says anything bad about him to Mindy. While Ray searches for Nicholas, a killer wearing Remington's discarded Easter Bunny mask murders him with a knife and a drill. The masked assailant mirrors Remington's violence but acts under a different identity. The mystery killer begins to claim victims around the house.

As the home renovators return to collect tools, the killer disembowels one worker with a circular saw and wounds another with a hammer, while a vagrant approaches the remaining survivor. The house devolves into a slaughterhouse under an unseen killer. The tension heightens as participants realize more danger is at hand.

Remington re-enters with two prostitutes, Candy and Brooke, only to be attacked by the injured handyman and the killer. The chaos erupts as violence spirals, and the home is overwhelmed by multiple threats. The moment pushes toward the night’s grisly finale.

Candy is impaled through the mouth with a broomstick handle, Brooke is stabbed with glass, and Remington himself is throat-slitted. The killer is revealed as Mindy, who taunts Remington as he dies, exposing her long-hidden motive. The revelation reframes the entire night’s violence.

A flashback shows that a decade earlier Mindy set her abusive husband Donald on fire because he deemed Nicholas a burdensome freak. The act explains Mindy’s capacity for lethal resolve and foreshadows the film’s later reversal of helps and harms. The memory deepens the viewers' understanding of her character.

The homeless man who enters is revealed to be Donald, Mindy’s estranged husband. He asks for forgiveness and for acceptance back into the family, bringing with him a murdered renovator’s head as proof of his willingness to do whatever it takes. His appearance redefines loyalties and tensions within the home.

Donald explains he wants to start over, and the trio embraces, signaling a macabre new chapter for the family. Mindy’s truth about her actions hangs over them as Donald asks, 'Now, what do you say we clean up these dead bodies, and start a family, huh?' The film closes with this unsettling invitation.
