Edgin's world was shattered when his beloved wife Zia was brutally killed by followers of a Red Wizard he had previously captured. This devastating loss led Edgin to abandon his noble vows, plunging him into despair.

After Zia's death, Edgin fell into a deep abyss of sadness and excessive drinking. This period marked a significant change as he struggled to cope with his grief and the loss of his moral compass.

During his darkest days, Edgin met Holga Kilgore, a woman who had been rejected by her tribe for loving an outsider. Holga, seeing Edgin's suffering, offered him solace and support, viewing him as a brother.

Struggling to survive, Edgin and Holga turned to theft in order to provide for Holga's daughter Kira. Their criminal activities marked a shift in their lives as they banded together with other misfits.

In a desperate attempt to restore Zia to life, Edgin and Holga attempted to steal a 'Tablet of Reawakening' from a Harper stronghold. Unfortunately, their raid ended in capture, leaving their companions to escape without them.

Edgin and Holga spent two arduous years imprisoned in Revel's End, enduring the harsh conditions. This time in captivity tested their resolve and determination to escape and reclaim their lives.

Upon their eventual escape, Edgin and Holga learned they had been pardoned. However, their return to Neverwinter revealed that Forge had manipulated Kira to believe Edgin's motivations were selfish.

As the situation unfolded, Edgin and Holga uncovered the truth about Forge's betrayal and Sofina's identity as a Red Wizard. Their understanding of the dark forces at play deepened, prompting urgent action.

The duo discovered Forge's plans to host the High Sun Games, which presented a chance to retrieve the Tablet and demonstrate their innocence. This opportunity drove Edgin and Holga to gather allies for their cause.

In their quest to thwart Forge, Edgin and Holga recruited Doric, a Tiefling druid who opposed Forge's logging incursions. Together with their team, they strategized to combat the looming threats.

As their journey progressed, the group encountered formidable challenges including a dark curse that turned innocent crowds into an undead army. The stakes were raised as they realized the extent of Sofina's evil plans.

In a heart-pounding climactic battle, Edgin's resolve was rigorously tested as he fought to save Holga, who was seriously injured, and Kira from the forces of darkness. The fight showcased their bravery and teamwork.

In contrast to Edgin and Holga, Forge faced a grim fate as he was sentenced to Revel's End. His betrayal was punished, ensuring that he would not escape the clutches of imprisonment as easily as Edgin and Holga once did.
