Five hundred years ago in a small Korean village, a girl named Narin was born with a powerful secret. She carried the coveted Yeouijoo within her, a magical pearl that could grant any wish, making her the central figure in an ancient prophecy.

The Heavens sent Bochun, a protector, along with his protégé Haram to ensure Narin's safety. Bochun trained Haram relentlessly, preparing him to become a knight who would protect Narin and eventually deliver her to the Good Imoogi.

The peaceful life in Narin's village was shattered the day the Dark Imoogi, Buraki, led a devastating assault. In search of the Yeouijoo, Buraki and his army destroyed the village, forcing Bochun to act quickly to protect Narin.

As chaos engulfed the village, Bochun instructed Haram to escape with Narin to deliver her to the Good Imoogi. With their lives at risk, the bond between Haram and Narin deepened, transforming their duty into love.

Faced with a moral dilemma, Haram and Narin chose love over destiny. They decided to leap to their deaths, sacrificing themselves together instead of allowing Narin to be given up to the Good Imoogi.

In present-day Los Angeles, Ethan Kendrick, an investigative reporter, starts to connect bizarre disasters plaguing the city with ancient legends he learned long ago. His quest leads him to uncover a link to his past life with Sarah.

Ethan discovers Sarah Daniels, a young woman tied to the series of strange occurrences in the city. He realizes that her fate is intertwined with the ancient prophecy surrounding the Imoogies and the Yeouijoo.
