Dr. Raichi, one of the few surviving Tuffles—an ancient race that lived on Planet Plant before the Saiyans arrived—witnessed his people massacred and their technology stolen as the Saiyans renamed the world Planet Vegeta. He escaped in a capsule, found refuge on the remote Dark Planet at the edge of the universe, and now vows to eradicate the remaining Saiyans.
