Dragon Ball Z: Lord Slug

Gohan visits Piccolo and shows him a new tune he learned to whistle. Piccolo's Namekian hearing makes him wince in pain. They both sense an approaching threat from outer space.

Bulma and her father realize a meteor carrying lifeforms is on a collision course with Earth. The impending impact would destroy the planet if not stopped. They alert others as panic spreads.

Goku and Krillin rush to intercept the incoming meteor by blasting it with ki. The force knocks them unconscious, and the meteor seemingly explodes in orbit. The danger appears to have been neutralized, but the threat remains.

A spaceship lands in one of Earth's cities, signaling the arrival of new visitors. An army of humanoid alien soldiers disembarks and establishes their rule under Lord Slug. Civilians are caught in the tension as the threat becomes obvious.

The soldiers attack civilians, but Gohan arrives to defend them. Slug notices a magical Dragon Ball sewn onto Gohan's hat and loses it during the scuffle. The Dragon Ball's presence signals a larger plan at work as Slug probes for the Dragon Balls.

Slug's men successfully gather the Dragon Balls and summon Shenron, who grants Slug eternal youth. The revelation raises the stakes as the alien threat grows more powerful.

Life on Earth begins to perish as the crisis deepens under Slug's assault. The planet's defenses dwindle while the villain grows more confident. The threat demands immediate action from the Earth's defenders.

Goku and Krillin are revived by Yajirobe, restoring their ability to fight. They rejoin the effort to repel Slug's invasion. The revival marks a turning point in the battle.

Gohan resumes his assault against Slug's army, but is nearly killed before Piccolo arrives to rescue him. Piccolo defeats the henchman Wings, yet Medamatcha overpowers Gohan, forcing Piccolo to confront the threat. Piccolo is injured when he jumps in front of a ki blast aimed at Gohan.

Goku and Krillin arrive and quickly kill Medamatcha and Angila, removing two of Slug's top lieutenants. Slug's defenses tighten as the battle intensifies.

Slug appears and attacks Krillin, who is quickly defeated. Goku fights Slug but is overwhelmed, triggering a moment of rage that hints at a Super Saiyan transformation.

In a critical moment, Piccolo tears off his ears and urges Gohan to start whistling. The whistling deafens and weakens Slug, buying time for the heroes to act. The sacrifice demonstrates the bond between Piccolo and Gohan.

Piccolo transfers his remaining ki to Goku, boosting his power. Goku gathers energy into a massive Spirit Bomb, preparing to finish Slug.

Goku launches the Spirit Bomb at Slug, sending him into his machines and destroying him. The planet is saved after a hard-fought battle, but Earth bears the scars of the confrontation.
