His true intent is to conquer the universe, and he brings a crew of ruthless henchmen including Bido, Bujin, and Zangya. He easily defeats experienced fighters like Piccolo and Vegeta, presenting a genuine universe-threatening crisis.

The movie centers on three interconnected themes: Confrontation, where intense battles test fighters' limits against a genuine threat; Family and Legacy, as Gohan rises to embody his father's spirit; and Deception vs Reality, where the staged tournament reveals itself as a cover for invasion.

The tournament appears to be a glitzy sporting event promoted by Mr. Satan, but it secretly serves as a front for Bojack's actual invasion of Earth. Mr. Satan is the tournament promoter who initially avoids fighting by feigning illness. He becomes trapped in a transportation pod by Bojack's scheme, but his dramatic arrival later distracts Bojack's minions, providing a crucial moment for Gohan to continue the fight.
