Dragon Ball: Sleeping Princess in Devil’s Castle

11-year-old Goku arrives at Master Roshi's island seeking martial arts training. Roshi is distracted by an exercise program featuring girls before he pays attention to the new pupil. They discuss training plans and set the stage for a grand quest.

Krillin arrives by rowboat and begs Roshi to train him. Roshi initially refuses, but Krillin bribes him with magazines, convincing him to take Krillin on as a student.

Roshi shares the legend of the Sleeping Princess held in the Devil's Hand by Lucifer, a vampire-like count. He declares the test: whoever brings back the princess becomes Master Roshi's student.

A blonde girl named Launch learns about the Sleeping Princess and plans to seize her for herself. Her scheme introduces a rival to the boys' quest.

Bulma, Oolong, Yamcha, and Puar meet Roshi and learn of the plan. They fly to the Devil's Hand in Bulma's Capsule jet, heading toward the castle as sunset paints the sky.

As night falls near the castle, ogres attack the Capsule jet and crash it. Bulma is taken into the Devil's Hand, while the others rush in to reach her.

Inside the castle, Lucifer and his butler Igor reveal their dark nature. They plan to drain Bulma of blood to awaken the Sleeping Princess.

Goku and Krillin fight ogres and monsters, including Ghastel, as they push toward the princess. A swamp monster later swallows Ghastel after a clash, and they fall into the bedchamber.

Launch arrives on her motorcycle, grabs the Sleeping Princess, and speeds away. Goku and Krillin pursue, continuing their effort to rescue her.

While chasing Launch, Oolong's shapeshifting wears out after five minutes, causing Puar to revert to herself. Yamcha, Oolong, and Puar are captured in the ensuing chaos.

The full moon powers the Sleeping Princess to awaken. Outside, Goku spots the Moon, transforms into a Great Ape, and smashes through a rock barrier to free the group.

Yamcha and Krillin manage to restrain Goku by grabbing his tail, while Puar shapeshifts into scissors to cut it off. Goku returns to his human form, but forgets his rampage and discovers his tail is gone.

Lucifer places the Sleeping Princess into a laser cannon to destroy the rising sun. Goku, Krillin, and Yamcha fight Lucifer, while Igor is slain by Yamcha and Bulma is freed. Goku fires a Kamehameha that damages the cannon, prompting the castle to collapse.

The sun rises and the Devil's Hand collapses. The gang returns to Kame House with Launch, where Roshi is pleased and offers to train the group.

Roshi takes Goku and Krillin on as students, and Launch accompanies them. She sneezes and reveals her bad side, driving Roshi away. A passing fly makes her sneeze again, returning to good, and she apologizes as the group heads off.
