Dracula: The Dark Prince

Dracula, a Romanian prince and Knight of the Secret Order of the Dragon, leads a campaign to drive the Turks from his homeland. He leaves his wife Erzebet in charge to rule in his absence. The mission sets the stage for a future tragedy when he returns.

When he returns, Dracula finds Erzebet and his knights murdered by his advisers. He executes the conspirators, but spares one loyal adviser, Renfield. In a fit of rage, he curses God and embraces a lonely immortality.

Centuries pass as a group of keepers is attacked by Wrath, a monstrous undead figure, while they search for the Lightbringer. The Lightbringer is the weapon said to have the power to kill Dracula. The quest to obtain it continues through the ages.

Sisters Alina and Esme are entrusted to bring the Lightbringer to Leonardo Van Helsing. Their guards fend off Wrath’s assault as the mission unfolds. The fate of Dracula hinges on the sisters' following of this perilous path.

A band of thieves led by Lucian intercepts the sisters and steals the Lightbringer. The theft dramatically shifts the course of the hunt for Dracula’s weakness. Alina is thrust into danger as Wrath drags her toward Dracula's power.

Leonardo Van Helsing arrives just as Wrath and his undead strike. Lucian activates the Lightbringer, revealing his Cain lineage and using the weapon to injure Wrath. Many thieves fall, and Alina is carried away by Wrath toward Dracula's castle.

Dracula recognizes Alina as his murdered bride and orders his adviser Renfield to protect her. Leonardo explains Lucian’s Cain-descendant status to a doubtful group. The stage is set for a confrontation with the past.

The power of the Lightbringer awakens when Lucian’s blood is used, proving capable of killing the undead. Dracula’s own blood hints at a darker possibility—the revival of the dead. The quest intensifies as Alina remains in Dracula's shadow.

Alina attempts to leave the castle, but Demetria blocks her escape and reveals the dining room as a lure where vampires await bites. Dracula rescues her just in time, reaffirming his protective vow. A fragile alliance forms between hunter and captive.

Betriz, Esme, Leonardo, and Lucian meet Andros, a towering demon hunter seeking vengeance for his sister. He chooses to join the quest to reach Dracula’s castle. The team now blends vampire-hunters with a formidable axe-wielder.

Wrath and the undead attack again; the Lightbringer fatally wounds Wrath, but Dracula revives him, illustrating the dark cycle of life and death. The battle intensifies as the group presses toward the fortress. The stakes grow personal for Alina and her past.

The group infiltrates Dracula’s castle via a daylight breach when Leonardo’s crossbow shatters the ceiling and lets in sunlight. The vampires retreat, and the survivors escape to safety. Wrath is anchored by Andros’s axe and dragged into daylight, where he dies.

Demon hunters storm the castle; Dracula defends Alina and turns on his own knights. Renfield bites Lucian and uses his blood to wound Dracula, revealing he engineered Erzebet’s murder. Esme kills Renfield, and Lucian urges Andros to stand down as Dracula, gravely wounded, is guided back to his coffin with Alina at his side.

Dracula, weakened, asks for a final moment with Alina as he is laid back in his coffin. Lucian disappears into the wilderness, and descendants of Leonardo Van Helsing continue the hunt for vampires. Alina waits for a day when she might be reunited with Dracula.
