Don't Move

Iris is deeply grieving the loss of her young son, Mateo, who tragically died during a family hiking trip. She is overcome with sorrow as she revisits the site of this bittersweet memory, struggling to cope with her immense grief.

At the site of her son's death, Iris contemplates jumping off a cliff in her despair. Just as she is about to take the plunge, a man named Richard appears and engages her in conversation, which leads her to reconsider her drastic decision.

After their conversation, Richard takes Iris back to their parked cars. However, he suddenly attacks her with a stun device, incapacitating her, and proceeds to tie her up before placing her helplessly in the back of his car.

Iris regains consciousness as Richard drives them towards a remote cabin, ominously stating they will have the entire weekend together. She feels a sense of dread, knowing she is in a dangerous situation as she tries to assess her surroundings.

As they travel, Iris manages to free her wrists with a pocket knife and confronts Richard, leading to a struggle that results in a car crash. This brief moment of chaos allows her to escape the vehicle and work on freeing herself from her leg restraints.

After escaping the car, Richard reveals that he injected Iris with a paralyzing agent which will incapacitate her within twenty minutes. Realizing the urgency, she begins to run through the woods, but soon starts losing her strength and mobility.

In a desperate bid for survival, Iris reaches a river and manages to float downstream, using the current to her advantage. She washes ashore on a remote property, fully aware that time is running out as the paralysis sets in.

An elderly man named Bill discovers Iris while mowing his lawn and helps her communicate through blinking. He attempts to call for help, unaware that Richard is hot on her trail, posing as someone looking for his missing wife.

When Richard arrives at Bill's house, he brutally attacks and kills the unsuspecting man after he tries to call the authorities. This violent disruption catches Iris off guard, forcing her to reconsider her vulnerable situation.

As Iris begins to regain some mobility, she uses a blind cord to alert Richard to her whereabouts, knowing she must act quickly. He finds her and kidnaps her once more, escaping just before the police arrive.

During their escape, Richard receives a phone call from his daughter that complicates his plans. As she discusses her upcoming visit to the cabin, it becomes clear that Richard's original intentions for Iris are at risk of being exposed.

At a service station, Iris makes a courageous attempt to escape once more but fails to open the truck door in time. Richard's involvement with local authorities begins to unravel when he kills an officer who appears suspicious of their situation.

Finally arriving at a small jetty, Richard plans to dispose of Iris in the waters where he has hidden previous victims. However, during their boat ride, Iris seizes the opportunity to stab him with a knife, turning the tables.

After wounding Richard fatally, he struggles to stay above water as Iris takes back control. In a dramatic moment, she pulls out his gun and shoots him, ensuring she will not become his next victim.

As Richard succumbs to his injuries, Iris stands over him, reflecting on her harrowing journey. In this intense moment, she expresses her gratitude for the struggle, recognizing that in fighting for her life, she has rediscovered her will to survive.
