Dawn of the Mummy

In present-day Egypt, Rick, Tariq, and Karib uncover the entrance to Pharaoh Sefirama's tomb. The elder priestess warns that the tomb is cursed. Rick shoots into the air to celebrate and then leaves to guard the tomb through the night.

That evening, three grave robbers enter the burial chamber and disturb the sarcophagus. The priestess urges them to seal the tomb to avert the curse. They are exposed to poisonous gas; one robber dies, while the other two escape.

American models travel to Egypt for a fashion shoot and stop when their tire punctures. Lisa spots a severed head on a dune—the corpse of one of the robbers. The rest of the group returns to their camp.

Rick and Tariq return to the burial chamber and begin digging a passage. Tarik and Karib detonate the tomb's entrance with dynamite, forcing open Sefirama's sarcophagus to search for more treasure.

The models shoot near the tomb at dawn while Rick and Tariq observe from a distance. Karib fires at the models, but Rick and Tariq intervene. The group moves closer to the tomb despite warnings.

The models' hot lights revive Sefirama. Rick cuts the power to the lights to stop the revival. Jenny spills a bowl containing one of the pharaoh's organs and becomes infected, helping Sefirama's followers return to life.

Karib goes alone into the tomb, cuts open Sefirama's mummy, and steals the crook and flail. A new chamber opens, but Karib is knocked aside and dragged away by a closing door.

The next day, Rick and Tariq re-enter the tomb to look for Karib and discover Sefirama's crook, flail, and other treasures in the tomb's chambers.

That night, the two models find the bodies of the two robbed men with crushed heads. The priestess enters the tomb and is killed by the mummy.

A model becomes lost in the tomb while Gary and Ahmed rest in town. Omar gives Jenny and Gary a 'smoke'. Jenny sees the mummy before it vanishes when Gary looks.

Inside the tomb, the mummy decapitates another raider. Lisa and Melinda swim at the nearby oasis; Melinda wanders and is killed by the mummy and its soldiers.

Rick discovers Tariq dead and calls for the God of the Sun. A wall slides back to reveal the treasure. The mummy returns and kills Rick.

Bill and Gary go to town to see Omar's wedding. Rick's severed head drops from the ceiling and is found by Bill. Bill shoots at the mummy but fails; the mummy decapitates Bill. Jenny is eaten by the mummy's soldiers as Lisa and June flee in a jeep.

At Omar's wedding, the models join the effort against the mummy's forces. Lisa and June ignite dynamite and gasoline around the mummy; a shed is blown up with the mummy inside. The mummy's hand rises from the rubble, hinting that it may survive.
