The seasoned Critter hunter Charlie MacFadden sets out on a new journey after dealing with the chaos from his previous adventures. His quest is to find the last of the troublesome alien creatures that have caused havoc in the past.

Annie and her younger brother Johnny, along with their father Clifford, encounter trouble when their vehicle suffers a flat tire at a roadside rest stop. This seemingly mundane event sets off a chain of horrifying occurrences.

At the rest stop, Charlie warns Annie's family and Josh, the morally ambiguous stepson of a shady landlord, about the lurking danger of the Critters. This precaution, however, comes too late as they are unaware of the imminent threat hiding beneath their car.

Unbeknownst to the family, a sly Critter has deposited its eggs under their car before they depart. As they drive away, they unwittingly become carriers of this extraterrestrial threat, setting the stage for disaster.

The family arrives at their rundown tenement, completely ignorant of the horror that is about to unfold. They settle in, unaware that the Critter eggs are about to hatch with dire consequences.

The Critter eggs hatch, leading to Frank, the unscrupulous maintenance worker, and the corrupt landlord becoming the first victims of the voraciously hungry creatures. The once quiet building is transformed into a scene of utter chaos.

In a moment of poor judgment, Josh inadvertently traps his stepfather Clifford in a room filled with the hatching Critters. This decision seals Clifford's fate, marking a tragic turn in their battle for survival.

As chaos reigns in the building, Annie, her family, and five other residents, including Josh, scramble for refuge atop the roof. The tension escalates as they try to escape the relentless attack of the Critters.

Just when all appears lost, Charlie MacFadden bursts onto the scene. Armed with a toolkit of high-tech gadgets and his traditional skills, he prepares to confront the remaining Critters threatening the survivors.

A bloody confrontation ensues as Charlie engages the Critters, utilizing every weapon at his disposal. The survivors watch in awe and horror as the battle unfolds, hoping to outlast the vicious creatures.

After a strenuous battle, the survivors, shaken but thankful, breathe a sigh of relief as they manage to escape the ordeal. The danger seems to have passed, but an unsettling feeling lingers in the air.

As the survivors contemplate their narrow escape, Charlie prepares to destroy the last two Critter eggs. Suddenly, he receives a perplexing command from an unknown presence, suggesting that the threat is far from over.

An ominous containment pod from the Intergalactic Council crashes into the building's basement, signifying that new dangers may soon emerge. This unexpected event hints at dire repercussions yet to come, leaving everyone on edge.

The film concludes with a sense of foreboding as the remaining characters reflect on their ordeal. The story hints at the possibility of a continuing cycle of chaos brought on by the Critters and other extraterrestrial threats.
