Pleasure Island is introduced as a luxurious resort off the coast of Costa Rica, owned by the famous musician Coconut Pete. The promising environment attracts guests looking for a delightful getaway, but an ominous cloud of danger looms beneath the surface.

Staff members Rolo, Stacy, and Kelly sneak into the jungle for a romantic escape. Their celebration is cut short when a masked killer viciously attacks, fatally stabbing Rolo and leaving the others in shock and fear.

As tensions mount, the killer continues to terrorize the girls, pushing Kelly off a cliff and decapitating Stacy. The resort remains unaware of these horrific events as the body count begins to rise.

Alarm spreads through the resort following the gruesome discovery of Carlos' body hidden behind the kitchen. This shocking revelation finally prompts the staff to acknowledge the possibility of a deadly threat amongst them.

In an effort to explain the gruesome happenings, Dave shares a chilling story about a former employee who went insane and killed his colleagues. Coconut Pete dismisses it as a mere campfire story, yet the guests remain uneasy about their safety.

Putman discovers the dead body of Cliff in a hedge maze, triggering panic among the staff. This unsettling event reinforces the notion that they are being hunted, and tension permeates the entire resort.

Determined to save the guests, Yu defies the killer's warnings and tries to gather everyone on the beach. However, her brave attempt ends tragically when she is brutally attacked, resulting in the loss of her arms.

Doubt begins to cloud the staff's judgment, leading them to suspect guest Penelope of involvement in the killings. Meanwhile, Juan insists on her innocence, creating further division among the staff as fear escalates.

Sam and Dave stumble upon a shrine decorated with eerie photos of Lars and the guests, revealing unsettling alterations. They mistakenly accuse Lars of being the murderer and confine him for safety, deepening the paranoia.

The killer cuts the power to the resort, plunging everyone into darkness and escalating chaos. Following the discovery of Pete's murdered body, the remaining staff members turn on each other amidst growing mistrust.

Jenny urges the group to unite for survival as panic mounts. However, as Dave restores power, the group is confronted with his severed head, sending shockwaves through the remaining staff and guests.

In a shocking twist, presumed-dead Sam emerges alive from a mud bath, revealing himself as the mastermind behind the murders. Driven by jealousy and a desire to maintain control over Pleasure Island, he escalates his attacks.

During a frenzied chase, Juan, Jenny, and Penelope barricade themselves in the nightclub, only to face Sam's wrath. In a desperate struggle, Lars manages to stab Sam, but at a cost to their own safety.

As the survivors flee to the cliff's edge, they jump into the ocean in a bid for freedom. Even after their jump, they must continue to evade Sam, who pursues them with deadly intent.

In a tragic turn of fate, Sam is bisected by a boat propeller as the trio attempts to escape on a damaged boat. Despite their harrowing experiences, Lars, Jenny, and Penelope make their way into the uncertain future, haunted by their time on the island.
