The movie begins with a boy throwing a stone at a mirror, causing it to shatter. He then runs toward a condemned rollercoaster, establishing an early sense of danger and mystery in the park. This act sets the tone for the dark and surreal events that follow.

A man in combat clothing shouts at the boy as he approaches the rollercoaster. The boy rides a wheelchair that transforms into a rollercoaster cart, but during the ride, a man pulls the safety bar, throws the boy off, and he lands impaled on a tree. The boy dies, marking a traumatic and surreal event at the amusement park.

Kristy, now an older girl, awakens beside a closed amusement park and is seen talking to a carny about her lost stuffed bear. She sneaks into the park, searching for her bear while interacting with the carny who warns her about the dangers of the forest.

Kristy, grown older, explores the abandoned park and discovers the bloodied impaled man from the earlier scene, who begs her for help. She witnesses scenes of violence and chaos, including a blood-splattered rollercoaster, indicating the park’s sinister, supernatural presence.

Kristy encounters a lake monster, a Civil War soldier, and ghostly hands reaching through walls. She flees from these horrors but continues to be terrorized by them, revealing the park’s ghostly and malevolent nature as reality warps around her.

Kristy meets James and Dyrk, children from her past, revealing that Dyrk was the boy impaled on the tree. She finds out about the park’s dark history and that her own memories may have been manipulated, amplifying the supernatural confusion surrounding the park.

Kristy and James try to leave the park but are continually pulled back into the surreal nightmare. James is attacked and seemingly killed by a monster, which is revealed to be the carny in disguise, emphasizing the park’s unstoppable evil power.

The scene rewinds repeatedly, with Kristy and James reliving various horrific scenarios, including encounters with the mirror, the carny, and the monster. This cyclical time loop highlights the park’s cursed nature and the characters’ inability to escape its grasp.
